Last night the annual Perseid meteor shower peaked. Supposedly there would be about one per minute on average. So I set the D7000 out on the porch and took a 25-second image every 30 seconds. This morning I used StarStaX to make this into a star trails image. In addition to the stars I can see some clouds, the lights from Santa Fe and Algodones; even a lightning flash. But where are the meteor trails?
