Mongolian Naadam - 34 - Archery The arrow hits the ground at some distance before the target. Still a very good shot, because the arrow with its dull arrowhead will slide along the ground and hit the target right at the center. Sitting that close to the impact region might seem dangerous. The Mongolians, however, having confidence in the archers' skills, were not concerned at all.. This image, like the previous ones, was taken during a Naadam, which was organized to celebrate the total solar eclipse of 2008.
