The Canons Regular of the order of St. Augustine founded this abbey in 1504. It is situated in the little village Pöllau in eastern Styria (Austria). In 1785, Emperor Joseph II dissolved the abbey and the buildings were sold. Today, the owner is the town of Pöllau. The abbey contains a large and beautiful Baroque church. This is a HDR-image (three exposures) taken in late evening right after sunset. HDR tonal mappimg was done with Lightroom.
