Pre-sunrise shot from the top of The Devil's Staircase in Glencoe, Scotland, looking towards the mountains of Beinn a'Chrulaiste (left) and Buachaille Etive Mor (right). This is a 7 stitch panorama. It was minus 16 when I took this shot and the camera batteries kept failing on me until I had the 'clever' idea of using my 'little hottie' hand warmers to warm the batteries. Having used them on the batteries, my next problem was trying to keep my fingers warm enough to operate the camera. Whoever said photography in the mountains in winter was easy?
