This is Urr deep in Glen Etive in the West Highlands of Scotland. Legends say that a monster, The Fachan, lives here. This is the seldom seen viewpoint of the Glencoe mountains. The loch was frozen and I took this photo standing on the ice. The mountains in the background are left to right: Stob Coire Sgreamhach, Buachaille Etive Beag and Buachaille Etive Mòr. Try saying that after a few drams of Uisge Beatha (The water of Life).
