Taken from the drive up to Mt. Evans near Idaho Springs CO. It was clear(ish) here but over the front range it was storming pretty awesomely. This was my first time trying to capture lightning and I didn't feel like getting out of the car for my tripod so I just tried it by hand. I tried the obvious crop to get the road out of the picture but I think its cooler like this. Kinda lends to the perspective. Any thoughts?
