I took this photo whilst watching this year's Perseid meteor shower. Out of about 100 or so exposures that I captured, this was the only one that caught a Perseid. The meteor is in the top left of the photo. The milky way is running top to bottom in the photo, with a passing satellite captured at the bottom. On the bottom right of the photo I have also managed to barely capture the Andromeda galaxy, my best shot of it so far! I have applied post production techniques to the original exposure to reduce the light pollution from the nearby towns and the moon, and to enhance the stars and the Milky Way.
