The twin peak, Meall Meadhonach, of the mountain Sula Bheinn (Suilven) taken from its main peak, Caisteal Liath (The Grey Castle), in the far North West Highlands of Scotland. Conditions for early morning photography were challenging, with 40mph winds and constant mist clouding the lenses and filters, and I think this shot sums up the difficulties of photographing in a mountain environment. Nonetheless, I like it, with the track leading to the 'Destitution Wall', built by starving Highlanders in the 1840's in exchange for food, and the mists blowing over and round the mountain.
