Hand or fin? This really big mitt is a cast of the right front paddle on the mosasaur Platecarpus found in Cretaceous marine rocks near Morden, Manitoba. Mosasurs were top predators of their time, giant aquatic lizards up to 15 m long that are closely related to modern monitor lizards such as the Komodo Dragon. Which makes the mosasaur a Cretaceous Water Dragon, I guess. McGill University's Redpath Museum in Montreal, Quebec is geotagged.
