Beech AT-11 Kansan at the Travis AFB Heritage CenterThis World War II trainer based on the Beechcraft Model 18, a type also known as the "Twin Beech." An estimated 90 percent of the more than 45,000 U.S. Army Air Forces bombardiers trained in AT-11s. The screens in the engine cowling and on the tip of the propeller is to discorage birds from roosting. Images shot yesterday on a Yashica Mat 124 G, Kodak Tri-X, developed in T-Max developer for 6.5 min at 24 °C, images "scanned" using a Canon 5D Mk II with a EF 50/2.5 and a repurposed Bowens Illumitrans slide duplicator, processed in PhotoShop CS6. Used a iPhone app to estimate exposure.On the crawl, walk, run scale, I think I'm walking, with a little wobble and weave. First roll of film I processed in a while, so negs were a little over agitated. Need to better square-up the copy rig. All in all, I've had worse 12-exposure rolls of film.
