Wetland near the summit of Kittatinny Mountain, Sussex County, within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The wetland is the source of the unnamed stream containing Silver Spray Falls. Beaver activity has enlarged the wetland, submerging parts of the surrounding hemlock–mixed hardwood forest. Hiking up the mountain past Silver Spray Falls brings you to the Woods Road Trail (a spur of the Appalachian Trail) and to this wetland. Although the hike is steep, rocky, and challenging (the unblazed trail to Silver Spray Falls all but disappears shortly thereafter), it provides access to the upstream cascades and waterfalls.
