Pantala flavescens, Family: Libellulidae Pantala flavescens, the globe skimmer or wandering glider, is a wide-ranging dragonfly of the family Libellulidae. It is considered to be the most widespread dragonfly on the planet. A small swarm has arrived to my home in Chennai. From where? I don't know.. Maybe from Himalayas... Maybe even far north... By next month they would make a pitstop in Maldives and then proceed to East Africa.
