Temperature inversion covering Loch Katrine in the Trossachs, Scotland, last Saturday morning. The inversion trapped the morning mist on top of the loch and covered the loch as far as the eye could see to the mountains of the Arrochar Alps some 20 miles away. Surprisingly I was the only person on top of Ben A'an early that morning to witness this spectacular sight which will remain with me for the rest of my life. Truly 'Alba gu bràth' (Scotland Forever).
