This will be my last post for a couple of weeks as I'll be taking a little R & R. I’m going on a few short trips around the state. Plus, I gotta move my youngest daughter (Gabby) out of state as she will begin college on a softball scholarship. Looks like all of those years of pitching lessons, playing dad/coach/umpire, and road trips to various states, cities, and towns paid off. NOTES: Gabby started every game during her high school softball experience, had post-season honors every year, and was selected first team all state this past year. The stat that I’m really proud of is she committed only one error her entire senior season. It happened during a game where she knocked two taters over the fence and was the winning pitcher. Final score: 13-3. I guess I can let that one slide. =)
