Just take a minute and imagine this picture as your walk through life. You are standing here and you are looking back onto the meandering path which brought you here to present. I do hope you like what you see. Further back it seems to be a bit foggy and you don't really see behind the bend. Just like in real life. Now you understand the reverse concept of time from South America´s indigenous Aymara people. Contrary to our - and most of the worlds - orientation and locomotion based concept of time and chronology Aymara people see the future behind them. It sounds logical, because you can't really see what will come, can you? But the past is in front of you and you can look at it. Actually a beautiful way to see it. You don't really know what will come. So you can relax and let future happen and you can react to it step by step, ...as ...it ...unfolds.
