This amazing granite block, sited in an underpass in Carlise Cumbria UK is inscribed with a 16c curse against the Reivers who ravaged the countryside at that time. Some say the curse still applies and locals want the stone removed. From a photographic pov the granite is almost translucent, and gave a wonderful lustre to the image. Should point out that its the curse that is 16c, the stone was carved in 2005. www.facebook.com/LesHainesImages.
