Loch Voil at Balquhidder, Scotland, taken from Creag an Tuirc (The Boar's Rock). The last rays of the setting sun turned Loch Voil a glorious golden colour highlighting the autumn shades. The wee graveyard in the photo is part of Balquhidder Church. Across the road from it is the ancient churchyard containing the grave of 'Rob Roy' McGregor, the famous outlaw, described as the Scottish Robin Hood. Tourists place coins on the gravestone - I have no idea why. Locals tend to place fresh flowers. The gravestone carries the inscription, 'MacGregor Despite Them'.
