It's a five minute drive from Texas Spring campground to the Zabriskie parking lot and another 5 minutes to walk to this point. This is not the overlook but is a few hundred feet north of there, near where the Golden Canyon trail rises over the crest of the hill. The moon was due to rise at 11:40. I was there about 15 minutes early and took several shots before and after moonrise. It didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, mostly due to my mistakes. Next time I'll do better!
