I was driving around Arches National Park as the moon began to rise, looking for a shot. This was around 11 pm on January 21. It's amazing how many night photographers I saw. It's hard to play well when other night photographers are around, because one stray flash of the light can ruin somebody else's 30 second exposure. And people are always turning on their lights and adjusting them. But this was to the north of Balanced Rock, and I just stopped along the road and jumped out to set up for the shot. There were several potogs over at Balanced Rock, but I had this place to myself. ISO 6400, 15 sec, f/5.6, 16-35@20 mm I suspect that the orange glow down on the left is from Grand Junction, Colorado. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPF_jEw5Kw4
