For no other reason than I liked this image and wondered what it would look like in black and white. It was a gloomy foggy day too so that didnt really add to the contrast that I was looking for. The picture makes you want to know what is around the corner, whilst the name conjures up an image of a flower strewn avenue, which it isnt! Took three shots trying to expose for contrast but the fog seemed to dampen that down. I walk past this on the way home from the pub so maybe that would produce a better picture! Thanks to Dennis Thorpe for the continued inspiration!!
