The Old Man of Storr lit by the sun during a particularly 'dreich' day on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. The Storr and the Old Man are part of the Trotternish land slip caused by a massive geological fault a good wee time ago, about 60 million years. It is the UK's largest landslip extending for some 30 miles. In photography terms, I live for moments like this. Dreich days sometimes make the best photographic opportunities: what's the point of climbing mountains in brilliant sunshine, when you can get 'drookit' (soaked through to the skin) and witness sights like this.
