A photograph of Turnberry Lighthouse, Ayrshire, Scotland taken from the seashore directly below the 9th Tee of Turnberry Golf Course. To get this shot I had to scramble about 100 feet down the cliffs above, then had the problem that you cannot climb back up and, with the incoming tide, had to wade round the headland to the shore. The lighthouse is built beside the ruins of Turnberry Castle, where Robert the Bruce, King of Scotland, was born in 1274.
