I met this charming fellow in my local park in the middle of Berlin. I have known for a while that a deer had made its home there, even seen the odd glimpse of him. But when I went there this week after work to shoot some flowers he suddenly stood before me. And we looked at each other, both full of curiosity. After quite a while I remembered to pull out my camera to try and take some pictures. I had my manual Helios Lens mounted. I am not a fast working photographer at the best of times. And less so with a manual lens. So this image is not as sharp as it could have been (makes me admire wildlife photogs even more). But I still want to show this image. It was a moving moment for me to stand with him and look at each other. I only got very few shots off before he decided it was ennough and moved off.
