By the standards of California geography, Sacramento County is as flat as a pool table. Carpenter Hill, in Folsom, is the highest point in the county, a mere 828 Ft./ 252 meters above sea level. The lowest point is more that an hour and a half away by car, southwest of Isleton on the Sacramento River, 5 ft./2 meters above sea level. Of the 58 counties in the state, all 57 others have a higher maximum elevation.
