Over Labor Day weekend at our cabin in Strawberry, we enjoyed an atypical Arizona rain-- it lasted all afternoon. As the sun went down over Fossil Creek Canyon, it cleared and generated this gorgeous full arching rainbow, extending from the top of the Mogollon Rim across the sky and disappearing beyond the peak of Strawberry Mountain. It was only after looking at the photos I noticed a fainter second rainbow. Contrary to myth, the gold was right here in the middle.
