I entered a war zone to catch this. While out on the trail I passed several pick-ups and couldn’t help but notice all of the drivers were decked-out in camo. Plus, I heard gunshots off in the distance. Yup! I had forgotten it was hunting season. Whatever! This is the Upper Butte Creek Falls. I photographed the upper and lower falls this past summer and found both were difficult to make interesting, so much that I ended up deleting all of the pictures. However, autumn colors will cover a multitude of sins so I thought I would give it another go, even if it were hunting season. Geez, the freaking chances I take as a photographer. =)
