Just another broken coffee mug, the handle of this one cracked off while in the sink full of hot water yesterday. This broken coffee mug is 15 years old and a memory of my first trip to Australia in 2000. As part of my sabbatical, I think it was the visit to Canberra Institute of Technology that funded by air travel, arranged by a colleague named John Smith. I cannot remember if he had visited me when I worked at Maricopa or we made a connection otherwise. But I do remember that he drove to Sydney to meet me when my plane arrived and coordinated a visit for a week in Canberra. That is one old mug! I'm said to see it go to my pile of busted ceramics....
