This Osprey chick was captured on the nest on Tigertail Beach, Marco Island, Florida on 20 March 2012. I don't normally do "poo" shots but I want to tell you about this behaviour. From a very early stage the chicks develop their projectile pooing so the nest is kept clean. It comes out with an incredible force and shoots a considerable distance from the nest.
