A common sight in Florida that always amazes me, is when two species of bird, fish together. Here a pied-billed grebe fishes in the water. As it fishes, the fish are pushed towards the bank where a tricolored heron catches the fish. The splonk from the heron sends fish away from the bank where the grebe is waiting to catch them. I have watched this cooperative fishing go on for hours and seen all the species of heron and egret on the bank and several swimming species in the water including cormorants and anhinga.
