Sure she had grown to enjoy Conrad's company, and together they made a better team than alone. She loved teasing him by callling him "Con" (and he calls her "Firehouse"). But he has that unpredictable streak, and she shuddered when she recalled what he did to that manager from Walmart who pulled a gun during their Whiteout scam that had been going perfectly to old Jepson had to peek in bottom the cart. He was still in the hospital. For a long time. And Con had played big games before in Chicago, Reno, Newark. He was sharp, very sharp, Conrad was also sweet, made her laugh, but he could not be trusted. So now, she had the bait to dangle, something bigger than everything they had done in their previous games combines. He would go fo it, not as much for the winnings but the act of doing it. His ego could not be contained, and Lori knew he could not pass. And now she had the copy bag to pull of the switch. Con though that denim satchl was just too unique, but with a little persuasion (some wet tongue whispering in an ear), she got that pony-tail head computer guy at the Lodge to use that google Goggles thing to find a copy. That was easy, and was one of thos remiinders that even a hick firl from Mississippi coukld out con Conrad. The copy bag was perfect. And when she got the chance, the switch would be on, the trap dropped, the fake explosion rigged, and with Con out of the picture, she would live her dream away from this hick town, on that beach in Maiu.
