This young female Osprey was captured on Tigertail Beach, Marco Island, Florida on 1 April 2012. All three ospreys were back at the nest on Friday morning. The male resumed the role of bringing fish to the nest and the adults still spend most of their time either with the fledgling or in their trees. The fledgling has started to act as we expected and is flying around the vicinity of the nest landing on different perches but returning to the nest to eat and roost for the night. I'm pretty sure it's a female but I'm told the markings may change so I'm not 100% certain. Thank you for visiting, I always appreciate your views, favs, invites and comments.
