Loyalsock State Forest, Lycoming County. Located on Bodine Mountain Road, this vista is not noted on the latest state forest map. (The vista appears on older maps; it's also described in volume 1 of the book Outstanding Scenic Geological Features of Pennsylvania, published in 1979 by the Pennsylvania Geological Survey.) The vista looks west into the deeply dissected Allegheny Plateau. In the foreground is the drainage area of Grays Run; in the far distance, part of the Trout Run drainage area is visible. Prominent peaks include Kinney Ridge, Sugarcamp Mountain, Narrow Mountain, Round Top, and Elk Knob.
