Rode Falls, Loyalsock State Forest, Sullivan County, along the Loyalsock Trail. Ketchum Run, a tributary of Loyalsock Creek, flows through a deep, rocky gorge shortly after its east and west branches meet. Ferns, moss, birches, and hemlocks cloak the steep walls of the gorge, accenting the beauty of the erosional features. The stream has many waterfalls, cascades, and slides—far too many, it seems, to photograph in a single day's outing.
