Today's @dailyshoot assignment is aimed at shoes with perhaps a story. I might have used a previous shot of old running shoes www.flickr.com/photos/cogdog/3970954186/ I never went through the cowboy boot phase as a kid in Baltimore, so I decided to revisit that period once I moved to Arizona. But these are my favorite footwear, Ariat #39904 and they are hands down the most comfortable cowboy boots I've owned- most tend to pinch your feet, but these are a bit wider and have a nicely cushioned sole. They have been around, and are losing their ability to pass for dress shoes. When I care about that. I got these ones in an interesting way- I managed to sell via Craigs List a satellite dish that I used when I had Hughes satellite for internet- I was so excited with the cash I got for the un-needed antenna, that I went out and bought a pair of boots. These were found in a store that has since closed in Payson, Corral West- I really miss their clothing! So, these boots were made for... Alan!
