I decided to try out my new Cokin graduated filter system by capturing this sunset. The low lying cloud had removed most of the colour potential from the sky. However I happened upon this pool in the beach sand which provided a great mirror effect. If you look closely at the centre of the photo, you can just make out the light from the sun coming through the cloud. I used the ND4 filter to balance out the light in the sky with the reflected light in the pool. I am looking forward to capturing some more sunsets with the filters soon.
