Am Taigh-bàta - The Boathouse. At the far end of Loch Chon near the small isolated village of Stronachlachar in the Trossachs, Scotland sits a small abandoned boathouse. For two weeks during the year the morning sun shines at the right angle through a gap in the trees to the left lighting up the scene and burning the early morning mist off the loch. Some may ask why I have chosen to place the boathouse in the middle of the photo but to do otherwise would have meant either cropping out the lilies floating on the loch on the far left or the tree on the far right, and I didn't want to do either. Works for me.
