Last night the moon was right for this kind of shot. I took this just down the road in Placitas, NM. Nikon D800E, 16-35mm lens at 16mm, f/8, 25 sec, ISO 6400. It's an f/4 lens, so I could have opened it up and shortened the exposure time or lowered the ISO. I tried several shots at various combinations of aperture, ISO, and time -- and I like this one best. I did run it through Nik's define2 to reduce the noise.
