Crandall Town Trail–Old Loggers Path junction, Loyalsock State Forest, Lycoming County. The Crandall Town Trail is a wide, unblazed woods road that joins the Old Loggers Path near a campsite. Nearby are several vistas and a series of large rock formations. The Old Loggers Path itself is a 27-mile backpacking trail that traverses the dense second-growth forest covering the summit and slopes of Sullivan Mountain—land once owned by the Union Tanning Company and, later, the Central Pennsylvania Lumber Company. The trail is so named because it largely follows the logging roads and railroad grades that these companies left behind.
