I finally got the chance to test my new 10 stop ND filter out. Only to realize that a few weeks a go when I dropped my camera from about 6 inches off the ground, the mount on my k-30 somehow got bent and no longer has the correct focal flange distance to allow infinity focus. So I had to test the filter out with my Sony a330, which doesn't handle low light noise very well. The clouds werent really moving in the right dercition to get the biggest bang out of the slow shutter, but it seemed to work well. So this photo is shot with the sony alpha a330, with the 18-55 kit lens attached and a Haida Pro II slim 10 stop ND filter attached to it. I shot mullpile exposures and then blended them together in photoshop cs6 and played up the lighting and colors using several adjustment layers.
