Last weekend Pierce Martin and I led a "Bromantic Post Valentines Day Hike" for the CU Hiking club up to the most romantic place we could think of: Lake Helene, Estes Park. Done this hike a few times, always the same. 1. Seems nice in the parking lot. 2.Slowly turns into a howling windy mess. 3.Get off trail (in the exact same spot every time) and have to break trail in snowshoes for an hour or two to get back to the trail. And I'm always the one to do it. So yeah its a great hike for us! The peaks were shrouded in clouds for most of the trip, so I didn't get much of a shot of them, but I kinda liked this erie black and white here. If you are interested in killing time and are waiting for Imgur to load some new gifs, check out the blog post from this hike! 2manventure.wordpress.com/2013/02/22/lake-helene-snowshoe/ And stay connected all you dare: More Places to find me:Zach Dischner Photography | 500px Blog2manventure
