This little one was delivered yesterday, coming all the way to Canada from Germany, and it's always exciting and fun to unpack a new old camera. It's a Zeiss Ikon Taxona, a 35mm camera that shoots in 24 x 24mm format. It's in beautiful condition and all the mechanics seem to be working crisply. The black lever on the right cocks the shutter and forwards the film and the one on the left is the actual shutter release button. The camera feels quite sturdy and I love the feel of the tension when winding the film and the sound of the shutter going off. I've loaded some film and taken some shots already. It's all manual of course and I'm loving it!
