Taken from the top of Vail Ski resort at sunrise, looking over the Gore mountain range. My friend and I volunteered for the Teva Winter Mountain Games held here a month or so ago, and one of the many perks of the job was being up on top of the mountain before the lifts even opened. We had to get up at about 4:30 to get there in time, but seeing a sunrise from the top of a ski resort has long been one of my goals. Also, for once I didn't go all crazy and HDR the damn shot. Dunno it you can tell, but I at least I feel better!
