I saw this glorious dawn developing on my way to work on Saturday morning and quickly nipped down to the River Clyde at Bowling Harbour to capture the sunrise over the Erskine Bridge. The main span of the bridge is over 1000 feet in length, with a total length of nearly a mile. At the time it was built, in 1971, it was the longest bridge of its type in the world.
