This big church, situated just off Richmond Hill and next to the Town Hall, was designed by John Loughborough Pearson who was architect of many Victorian Revival Gothic churches and is best known for his work at Truro Cathedral. Im my opinion, this is one of his best and the inside is a Cathedral in miniature! The church was featured in Simon Jenkins 1000 Best Churches. This is the gorgeous Rose Window in the North Transept.
