This photo really sums up Scotland's weather. Sometimes it's 'braw' - which can mean anything from dry and sunny to simply nice, sometimes (most times) it can be 'dreich' - a combination of dull, overcast, drizzly, cold, misty and miserable. At least 4 of these adjectives must apply before the weather is truly 'dreich'. Usually we can get all seasons in a day, especially when it's 'blowin' a hoolie' - howling gale. This is The Trossachs area of Scotland on a braw, dreich day when it was blowin' a hoolie. In picture is a snow storm blowing across Loch Venachar.
