Naadam in Mongolia - 26 - Archery This is the second image in a series taken during a Mongolian Naadam on July 31st, 2008 (the day before a total solar eclipse). This image is a composite of seven photos. Mongolians use a very effective recurved composite bow. For this competition, the arrows have a big heavy arrowhead designed to hit a target on the ground.
