Now here's a funny thing. When we bought our house, thirty years ago, we noticed in the Deeds that it is called Red Kites. We thought that was really dumb. There were hardly any in Britain and certainly none near Hampshire. Must have been a forward-looking builder, because they're here now!! This was taken further north in Oxfordshire.
