Small is big time. Not always big things they are, which inherit ingredients for a big time. A daredevil is also a person, who is able, to let the currents of his mind flow around small things. At the beginning, small seems to be easy to dissect, clear to understand, simple to engulf, until you lift up a leaf and focus your mind to look underneath. The adventure of exploration may begin. It is then, that the view suddenly expands, and ones mind starts to distend, like a pupil, that widens in less light. And the prize may be sheer fascination and amazement, that small things can contain all what is needed, to brake gently, and sometimes unnoticed, the pace of time, so that one can settle in the present, to explore, dive in even more, into this moment, into this space. And insight rises, like a morning sun, that everything can be found in the small as well as found in the large, that size can not be a measure of greatness, that one needs less than one reckoned, to be caught in sticky, honey-like joy. “Big time” I call these moments, where time finds a halt, and small grows to large, larger than a mind can span. Unbelieveable and Priceless.
