Hi everyone! How are we all doing? My next series of photos will be some touristy snapshots from my trip to Cairns (Queensland, Australia). Here we have a hot air balloon taking off into the sunrise. Although we had to wake up at 3am it was well worth it! In processing this photo the basic adjustments were done in Lightroom. I then exported the photo to Photoshop and did some cleaning with the clone stamp tool (I find the clone stamp tool in Photoshop easier to use than the Lightroom one, do you guys feel the same?). I also used the HSL tool to enhance the oranges and reds and blues in the sky. As I didn't bring my tripod that day (to my regret!) I was forced to shoot with an ISO of 1000 resulting in some grainy noise. I used the Noiseware Professional plugin in Photoshop to clean up part of this noise. I think all in all hot air ballooning is an enjoyable experience with a multitude of photo opportunities! Highly recommended, 2 thumbs 2 toes up from me!
