I find Japanese stuff kinda weird sometimes, good, but kinda weird, and I'm Japanese, although because I didn't grow up in Japan, I haven't been saturated by Japanese products, but am still familiar, yet distant enough to have a sense of wonder about them. Branding is taken to the next level in Japan I think; everything has a face, a jingle, a hook. The amazing thing too, is that so many many things remain the same and traditional for years and years. You pick a bottle of mayo for example and if you were to go back 50 years, the bottle would look the same, the mascot and everything. It's like branded nostalgia. Behind all the package however, these cookies are quite good; they melt in your mouth and the bunny is cute.
